Can resin take delivery vehicles?
With the right base and system, yes for light commercial traffic. Heavy goods vehicle routes usually need a different surface or a heavy-duty specification.
Does resin harm the tree?
No. A porous resin bound pit lets water and air through, and a gap is left around the trunk for growth.
Is anti-slip resin the same as resin bound?
No. Anti-slip finishes are usually resin bonded, with hard stone broadcast onto a resin coat for maximum grip. Resin bound is smoother and permeable.
Is resin good for cycle paths?
Yes. Resin bound gives a smooth, permeable surface. Shared paths need a firm base and strong edges where maintenance vehicles cross.
