Process
How it works
From guide price to laying day, here is exactly what happens and what we check.
1. Get a guide price
Answer four quick questions in the quote tool and see a price range for your drive in under a minute.
2. Free site survey
We measure, check the base, levels and drainage, and bring real blend samples to see in daylight.
3. Itemised written quote
Each part is priced separately: base, edging, drainage and resin. The price is fixed once the spec is agreed.
4. Laying day
Booked for a dry day above about 5°C. Most drives over a ready base are laid in a day; walk on it within hours.
What we check at the survey
- Measure the area and plan edges and borders
- Test the existing base: cracks, movement, soft spots, levels
- Check falls, where water goes now, and drain covers
- Check door thresholds, damp-proof course and airbricks
- Look at access, mixing space and where materials can go
- Show real blend samples in daylight
On the day
Doors, walls and drains are masked, resin and dried aggregate are weighed and mixed in batches, then spread and hand-trowelled. You can usually walk on the surface after 4–6 hours and drive on it after 24–48 hours.
Aftercare
You receive simple care notes: regular sweeping, a wash once or twice a year, and quick action on oil or fuel spills. See our maintenance guide.
