Questions to ask a resin driveway installer
A good quote names the resin and aggregate, states the depth, explains exactly what happens to the base, lists edging and drainage, and shows VAT. If a quote is one line with a single price, ask for it itemised before you decide.

What should the quote say?
The system (bound or bonded), resin type (UV-stable or not), aggregate blend and size, laid depth, base works (overlay, repair or dig-out with depths), edging, drainage, waste disposal, VAT and payment stages.
What should I be wary of?
Doorstep offers of leftover material, pressure to sign the same day, large cash deposits, "VAT-free" prices without paperwork, and quotes with no written specification.
What rights do I have?
If you agree a contract at home, away from a business premises, or at a distance (by phone, email or online), you normally have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask for work to start inside that period and then cancel, you may be charged in proportion for work already done.
