Guide
Laying resin in winter, rain and heat
Resin is laid only in dry weather with ground and air above about 5°C. Moisture and cold stop it curing properly, which leads to cloudy patches and loose stones. In warm weather it cures faster, so batches are kept smaller.

What happens if it rains on the day?
The pour is moved. A good installer would rather lose a day than lay resin that will fail. Light rain after the surface has skinned over is less of a risk, but it is avoided where possible.
How long before I can drive on it?
You can usually walk on it after 4–6 hours and drive on it after 24–48 hours, depending on temperature. Colder days mean longer waits.
